Molino Maufet

Molino Maufet is a beautifully restored historic watermill located in Colico, on Lake Como, Italy. It offers a unique blend of history, culture, and hospitality. The living spaces of the millers’ family has been transformed into a guesthouse with apartments suite like “Alle Macine”, “La Volta”, “Il Fienile”, “La Roggia” and “Il Granaio” each offering stunning views of the lake and Alps or 4,000 square meters garden.
The mill dates back to the 1200s and was once a hub for grain and corn milling. It has been lovingly restored by the Bettiga family, who aim to preserve its historical significance while also making it a sustainable energy source. Visitors can explore the museum, stay in the cozy guesthouse, and enjoy the serene natural surroundings.
